Verdict

Signalman, Dimashq and Sir Sandicliffe make most appeal in a competitive opener and the vote is given to Signalman. The selection won well at Ayr last time on his British debut and although he has a penalty for that success, he did score cosily. There should be more to come and with conditions to suit he looks a sound bet. Dimashq wasn't beaten far at Pontefract last time out but she had the run of the race that day and it may have been a winning opportunity missed. Sir Sandicliffe wasn't beaten far at Chester last time in a race won by Prelude and although he should again be competitive, he has a poor strike-rate and the percentage call is to take him on. Kyber and Court Of Appeal both arrive here in good form and they appeal most of the others, but for the winner we will stick with Signalman.
