Verdict

COUNTRYWIDE FLAME has been in outstanding form on the Flat and over timber and has scored five times since May. He was just touched off at Market Rasen by Secret Edge, who was receiving 8lb, and Dean Pratt's claim will be a big help here as Eagle Rock could be a decent hurdler in the making. Tom Tate's son of High Chaparral scored on the Flat at Ripon in September from just five starts and is just the type his trainer excels with. Janet's Pearl's Wetherby success was in a seller while Born To Shine hasn't shown much in two starts to date.
