Badgers Retreat was a 100/1 chance when showing improved form behind the potentially useful Hawk Mountain over the C&D when his stablemate, the more experienced On The Right Path, never got into contention. Ravens Secret made a promising start over this trip before finding 2m7f too far at Kelso while Trojan Gift, a winner over 2m on the Flat, ran well enough on his hurdling debut at Wetherby to be considered but it's BOUND FOR GLORY who gets the vote.
