Verdict

A wide open handicap here and many can be given chances on their best form but the principals look to be Westernmost, Jolika, Glinger and Lord of The Loch and the tentative vote goes to Jolika. The selection was pulled up last time on rain softened ground but prior to that he had been a fair fourth of this mark behind Just Sal. This faster ground will suit and he is also sure to get the fast pace he requires and he looks a sporting bet in a wide open affair. Westernmost rates the main danger on his latest win over Speed Kris but that was on very soft ground and his form on a faster surface leaves him with a little to find. Glinger is another that could go well he won well last time when defeating Glynn Dyngle and he looks an improver so he could easily defy his rise in the weights. Lord Of The Loch has been in fair form of late but he just gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when fourth behind Mike Simmons so for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Cosmic Case has dropped to a fair mark and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Jolika.
