Sherman McCoy and his Windsor conqueror Urban Space are weighted to finished very close together in this stayers' contest, but neither may be able to cope with DOGGERBANK, who is preferred. Henry Cecil's filly arrived late on the scene before grabbing a fast ground Warwick maiden last time over the same trip as this. She is related to some classy stamina-fuelled stock and a mark of 78 for her handicap debut does not look like being high enough to prevent her from winning. Urban Space is 1lb worse off with Sherman McCoy for beating him a length at Windsor and, as both are suited by decent ground and a test, there should be little to separate them again. Moresco is interesting now dropping a mark of 73. He is learning the trade and has a chance of staying, so if there is market interest then we should take note. Decorum was held from this mark at Wolverhampton but may find more for the extra furlong, while Headline Act is probably better than when running in the spring as his yard is back in good order. Not an easy race to nail but Doggerbank could have them all at sea.
