In depth

Verdict

Not a huge amount of depth to this contest where SAN JEMENIANO is the suggestion to get the better of Blue Maiden and newcomer Mon Cadeaux. The selection showed up nicely for a long way over this trip at Windsor on debut before looking in need of the run, so with that under his belt and the invaluable experience gained he looks capable of sustaining his effort for longer and can score. Blue Maiden looked straighter on her first run and finished second beaten just over a couple of lengths at Newbury. This ground should suit and there is no reason why she too can't improve a fair bit so she is taken to go well. Mon Cadeaux is nicely related and from a yard going well, although on balance he is likely to do better over further than this. Nonethless a market check is advised, and the same goes for Tumbled Again, who is an interesting booking for Darryll Holland and is related to juvenile winners. The rest do not inspire and San Jemeniano is the one for us.
