Verdict

Malachim Mist appeared to make heavy weather of landing a straightforward Doncaster opportunity last time and perhaps has not progressed as much as expected since scoring at Goodwood. This will be a better gauge of his rate of improvement though he carries topweight and DUTCH COURAGE makes greater appeal. She had no problem in seeing out the trip at Pontefract over 6f last time so this extra furlong should not be a concern. She had previously been the only one to threaten Corncockle in a maiden on the Rowley Mile course and is clearly improving with each outing. Razor Quest and Tableforten were second and third behind Ligeia last time and will need to improve so Al Baz, an easy Redcar maiden winner last time, looks next best.
