Vinnies Son started favourite on his debut in a Ballinrobe bumper but was well beaten and better must have been anticipated. Cracking Man scored on heavy going at Wetherby last June before beaten at odds-on at Down Royal a fortnight later and hasn't been seen since. PEPPARPOT could be the one to be on as he didn't perform badly on his hurdling debut and has since scored on the Flat. PJ's Dream found 3m much too far at Kilbeggan last time while Nell's Nan showed a bit of potential on fast ground at Bellewstown and Reem Machine ran well for a long way on heavy ground at Cork in March.
