    Verdict

The step up to this trip is an imponderable at this stage for a few of these and, although a very interesting race for future reference, it is a race to approach with caution today. However, for the selection nothing makes more appeal than Opera Comique, who finished a close up third in a Group 3 when she made her last start for John Oxx as a juvenile. Kisses For Me and Ouija Board also held useful form as juveniles and merit a second look in the betting, while Sahool and Rave Reviews also hold each-way claims despite needing to post improved efforts over a trip that is not certain to suit. In contrast, this ten furlongs should not be a problem for Opera Comique, who as a daughter of Japan Cup winner Singspiel, should improve for being upped in distance today. The three-year-old also impressed with her willingness to get involved in a battle last term and she will remain one to keep on the right side of whatever happens today.
