Verdict

The Group 2 penalty will not make it easy for Echoes In Eternity, but she really started to get the hang of things as last season went on and she is fancied to confirm her superiority over Silence Is Golden and Benevanta despite needing to post an improved effort today. Out of the rest only the French raider, Special Delivery, is hard to assess as she has bags of scope and arrives here as one of the least exposed in the field with only five previous starts to her name. The daughter of Danehill is suited by a little give under foot and her two previous wins have both been gained in good style. However, it remains to be seen how well she will cope in the much stiffer company and she may find at least one too good at the finish. Zietory is another to throw into the mix if she is supported as she proved to be a consistent sort last term. However, the Godolphin team will have a good handle on her on a line through Gonfilia and she, in turn, has a bit to find with the selection. It can safely be assumed that Echoes In Eternity would not have been kept in training if her connections were not confident of picking up further prizes with the Spinning World filly and she will be expected to take a race like this in her stride if she is to go on to contest races across the Atlantic after this. Silence Is Golden arrives here in good heart and can pose our selection the most problems if she runs her usual race.
