In depth

Verdict

Avid Spell, Divine Spirit and Mokabra represent solid juvenile form with the vote going to the latter. He showed good promise behind Cape Fear at Kempton on his debut and normal improvement would see him land a race of this nature. Of the newcomers, Tim Easterby's pair, The Rip and Pay Attention, warrant consideration, as do Linda Ramsden's Yarn Spinner and Mark Johnston's well-related Think Tank. As ever, watch the market, but previous experience could count for a lot in this contest and the selection looks set to give a very good account of himself.
