      Verdict

Irish raider Tango Step may prove the answer over Averami, with American Embassy another probable in a tricky one to call. Not many can be given chances, even in this weak affair, and the form of Tango Step may be enough. The four-year-old is still a maiden after 24 career starts in Ireland, but has been a close second on her last two outings, on the beach at Laytown and at Navan. He takes a step back up in trip here but that will not be a problem for the colt and he can make the most of the six-pounds that he receives from Averami. She is something of a standing dish here at Lingfield already, with nine of her 14 career starts having been on the Polytrack, and she came good just a week ago when an easy winner from Bertocelli in this grade. It make you wonder why she had not shown that form before, but now that she has, Andrew Balding's filly is out to prove that was no fluke. American Embassy showed more on his fibresand debut than he had on Turf for either Ed Dunlop or Paul D'Arcy, and new connections should have the pleasure of seeing him win soon. However, on this occasion we are going to side with Tango Step.
