Plausabelle is at the top of her game and looks set to go close again, however we will give the verdict to Gabana, with Summer Shades and Piquet also expected to go well. Gabana is making her all weather debut this afternoon after going close on numerous occasions on the turf last season. Her last racecourse venture was at Yarmouth back in July where she was a close third to Oh So Rosie, a decent effort in the context of this race. She does have a very good American pedigree so there is every chance she will like this surface and she gets a tentative vote. Plausabelle will be a tough nut to crack having landed two races at Wolverhampton. She ran well here on her only visit and will be difficult to keep out of the frame. Summer Shades returned to somewhere near her best last time when chasing home Barzak at Wolverhampton, while Piquet put in her usual sound performance behind Dark Society her last week. Both are entitled to respect along with Clive Brittain's Sierra, but Gabana looks well treated for her first all-weather start and gets the vote
