        Verdict

        Avizandum is steadily improving and can take this modest handicap, Hugo The Boss, Jennverse and Eden Vale appear to be the main rivals. The selection put up a very promising display last time out when a close up fifth behind Wiltshire at Wolverhampton. With further progression a possibility he must be in a great chance in this company. Stable companions Jennverse and Eden Star finished almost together behind Conjecture here on Saturday and the weights today favour Eden Star, who should be competing for some place money. Hugo The Boss does at least have recent winning form having landed a banded event at Southwell last month, and although held by the selection on Wolverhampton running, he should still be involved in the finish. Best of the others could be Feminist, but Avizandum appears to be going the right way and is a confident choice
