Verdict

Willie Mullins has won this lucrative handicap twice in the past five years and makes a major play to score again with five entries. It's very difficult to sort them out as all have been in fine form but Colin Keane generally rides the stables better-fancied Flat runners so Galway Hurdle winner SHARJAH could be the pick of the quintet from what looks a lenient mark. Aidan O'Brien has three engaged, all in outstanding form, with Donnacha's presence on Saracen Knight perhaps a pointer despite a penalty for a very impressive victory after a long absence at Naas last week. Batts Rock is another in tremendous shape having landed the Ladies Derby at the Curragh under a huge weight while Peter Chapple-Hyam wouldn't be sending the impressive Epsom winner Medalla De Oro here without good cause. St Stephens Green won a Curragh handicap in May then scored over fences at Galway and a Flat mark of 86 could be underestimating his ability.
