Kenya, a Group 3 winner on soft ground here in October, had been running poorly until landing a lucrative handicap at the Curragh in very easy fashion. Now that he's back in form he looks certain to go well and Seamie Heffernan retains the ride. Stable companion Prepare For Battle won a Gowran maiden in a canter and could be anything while Ryan Moore's presence on I Can Fly suggests he won't go unfancied and he got no sort of run in a Tipperary Group 3 last time. MAKING LIGHT reappeared after a break with an easy victory over Pincheck in a Cork Listed event. Though behind Psychedelic Funk in a Naas Group 3 earlier, the heavy ground that day clearly favoured the latter so Dermot Weld's charge gets the nod in a tricky event.
