In depth

Verdict

After finishing third at Newbury in July, Champion Brogie had four runs in France. He wasn’t disgraced and, though exposed, shouldn’t be far away here. Rosamour has only won a three-runner race at Brighton so far but has been second on three other occasions and may still be improving. EESHA’S SMILE made all at Beverley and similar tactics will probably be employed again here. A half-sister to two middle-distance winners, stamina will be her forte and she can defy her penalty. Mark Johnston also runs the Camelot newcomer Living Legend and his performance should be noted along with Tribal Commander.
