    Verdict

This is generally won by a well-supported horse with the biggest price winner in the last 17 years at 6/1. Tonkinese made a very pleasing debut behind Air Force Blue at the Curragh and looks comfortably better than the Ger Lyons pair, who have also had a run. That Curragh winner is trained by Aidan O'Brien, whose Antelope Canyon is sure to attract support being a half-brother to six winners including the useful Abjer. Jim Bolger has a fine record in the race so Brontide, a half-brother to the Irish 1000 Guineas winner Pleascach, has to be considered. Dermot Weld hasn't had much luck this week but things can get better if LOOK CLOSER makes a winning start. He's out of a mare from the family of Refuse To Bend and Media Puzzle and with entries in two Group 1s he's obviously well regarded.
