      Verdict

Attain beat Kyllachy Spirit a neck at Nottingham but the runner-up is a couple of pounds better off here so might reverse the placings. Swift Cedar can race off the same mark as when beating hot favourite Hydrant on similar ground at Haydock but the runner-up has been well beaten since. Simon Walker's presence on board Commissar catches the eye and Ian Williams' charge could run well at decent odds while Trader Jack found some form at Nottingham last week, though now has a penalty. Party Royal, who won at Chelmsford in March, is still nicely treated but the handicapper looks to have got to Glennten. The lightly-raced RUSSIAN REMARQUE represents the trainer/jockey combination that's been successful in this in the last two years and he looks poised for a big run after a close-up fourth at Leicester last month.
