In depth

Verdict

Dispol Veleta loves it around here over this trip and is taken to go in again from Ignition, Hula Ballew and Hansomelle. The selection won here last time out and carries a penalty as a result. However, that five length win and the fact that she has won off higher marks here in the past suggest that she has it in her to follow up. Ignition is 3lb higher than when scoring at Ayr when last seen out in September and relishes this sort of ground, while this is also her optimum trip. As a result she can't be discounted, though she is completely exposed here. Hula Ballew did well to win at Pontefract last time, but the 6lb penalty will probably find her out here, while Hansomelle is on the downgrade and although her best here would give her a chance, she can't be trusted just at present. All that brings us back to our selection, which is Dispol Veleta.
