In depth

Verdict

Dakiyah would appear to have been found a decent opening although Northern Jem has always been held in high regard. The selection beat all bar handicap blot Punjabi at Sandown last time and faces nothing of that class here. He pulled 5 lengths clear of the remainder and is due to race from a 4lb higher mark in the future; he has an obvious chance. Press The Button has looked regressive in two starts this year whilst Multicultural has failed to take advantage of his sliding handicap mark thus far. Cupid's Glory may need a little more respite from the handicapper whilst Northern Jem has yet to live up to his trainer's high hopes. This is a little easier than some tasks he's been set but he'll do well to lower the colours of Dakiyah.
