Verdict

Chestnut Ben was well backed with McCoy back in the saddle here earlier in the month and only found one too good. He's likely to be thereabouts again, though is closely matched with Goring Two on a line through the winner. Tchang Goon regularly carries more than his allotted weight and does so again here. He needs his sights lowering but Lady Willa was just beaten at Huntingdon last time and is only a pound higher. She may be the danger to JOIN THE NAVY, who is given another chance after failing to justify favouritism at Towcester last month. He won over course and distance on heavy ground on Boxing Day and drops back a grade today.
