Verdict

This won't take much winning and Just Spot has to go on the short-list after a couple of placed efforts at Wincanton. She was well beaten on both occasions but her amateur rider's claim should aid her cause. However, we just prefer IRON BUTTERFLY as the four-year-old possibly has more scope and wouldn't need to improve much on her latest fourth at Catterick to be a factor. Mistral Reine finished last on her hurdling debut but, along with Cairanne and Classic Pearl, probably has place claims in a very modest heat.
