Verdict

Big Jer ran a nice race on his hurdling debut at Taunton but ran in snatches at Chepstow next time and dropped away tamely in the straight. He needs to do better while Westaway needs to get back to the form he showed over this trip at Ascot in December. Via Sundown was third over fences in France for former connections but may need this and King Caractacus was pulled up at Ludlow in January, thought should strip fitter here. The Informant will have benefited from his third at Lingfield but LOUDMOUTH is just as interesting after his staying-on sixth at Newbury. A winning pointer by Milan out of a Presenting mare, he looks to have a future over timber and can take this.
