In depth

Verdict

Missyspet has won twice over hurdles here and looked a certain future winner over fences when runner-up twice to Willie Mullins' chasers. She went to Gowran last month with a favourite's chance but was struggling when falling three out. This shorter trip should aid her cause and she looks comfortably the best of those with experience over fences but DANCING MEADOWS could be a nice chasing prospect. Gordon Elliott's mare has done her winning on much quicker ground than she'll face here but her close fourth in a handicap hurdle at Cheltenham in October suggests she's up to making a successful start over the bigger obstacles. Kara Loca has won a point and a maiden hurdle but her jumping has been a problem since turning to fences while Simple Steps, a dual winner between the flags, was beaten a long way on her chasing bow at Gowran last month.
