In depth

Verdict

Pam Sly's horses are invariably underestimated and having obliged at a big price on his most recent visit to Chester, it will be interesting to see if similar odds can be obtained about Wilhana. English Summer and Xinbama have overcome significant losing troughs in their careers and both will have their supporters but ARAMIST can get back to winning ways tonight. The draw hasn't made life easy for Alan Swinbank's four-year-old though he'd looked very much on the upgrade prior to his defeat in the Carlisle Bell and it's worth giving him another chance in what is an ultra-competitive affair. Roger Varian saddles just one runner at the meeting so any confidence behind Familliarity should be noted. The filly held an entry in a Listed contest at York this weekend and connections will have been delighted to have secured a prime draw in this alternative engagement.
