    Verdict

    Green Door drops in class having taken on the cream of the sprinting crop but with a handicap mark of 105 appearing none-too-generous, he could struggle to concede weight to PETERKIN. Mark Johnston's colt made all to win over C&D last month and confirmed form with Piazon when the pair subsequently met at Newmarket. Michael Bell's stable arrested a long losing run earlier in the week so with a change of jockey and a pull at the weights, they will be hoping for a different outcome here. Blithe Spirit would not be inconvenienced in the event of any rain and Eric Alston's charge is something of a standing dish at Chester. The daughter of Byron has won three and placed on a further occasion during her five visits to the Roodee.
