    Verdict

It was soft ground when MALJAA went close a Haydock in May. His ability to a handle this faster surface has to be taken on trust but he's the one to beat if doing so. Henley looked one-paced in the closing stages of his introduction over 6f at Nottingham, so this shorter trip should suit, while both Eye Glass and Tohfa showed glimpses of promise on their respective debuts. Teruntum Star and Muhaarib Al Emarat represent powerful northern yards and are newcomers to note.
