Verdict

The form of Savitsky's run at York looks the benchmark and he can prevail here from Dontstopthemusic and Red Trance. The selection ran the best race of his season on the Knavesmire last Tuesday and if reproducing that run when only caught close home by the progressive Blue Tomato he will be hard to beat. Red Trance overturned a hotpot on Friday and his quick reappearance augurs well. He showed blistering pace that day but could struggle under his penalty. Dontstopthemusic has the shades on for the first time here and if taking to them is capable of reproducing the run that saw him win well at Nottingham two starts ago but he must put a poor run at Catterick last time out behind him. Savitsky, therefore, remains the call to reproduce his excellent York effort.
