    Verdict

Seeing out the trip will be the key thing here although the downhill finish will aid the likes of Go Between, who is a half-sister to the speedy Wunders Dream, and thus has to have a query about stamina today. Sentiments that also apply to Carolou's Court, who is yet to trouble the judge in three previous outings over six furlongs. Therefore the vote goes to Lucayan Beauty, who has done very little wrong in good company so far, and the daughter of Marju is fancied to finally get off the mark today. The Brian Meehan-trained selection was far from disgraced in Listed company at Royal Ascot and has subsequently acquitted herself with further credit in defeat. She will not be found wanting for assistance from the saddle with Pat Eddery doing the steering, another bold show is expected and she can put her experience to good use today. Fort can be expected to benefit from this outing and is one to note for next time. In contrast to Makfool and Meadaaf, whose futures will be cut out in handicap company, and their respective connections will have a good handle of the direction to take if getting close to the 82-rated Lucayan Beauty.
