LE PREZIEN (NAP) beat Kerry Lee’s pair Gino Trail and Top Gamble in this last year, swooping late off a fast pace. JP McManus’ eight-year-old has been lightly campaigned since and is only a pound higher so a repeat maybe on the cards with a strong gallop guaranteed again. Trainer Paul Nicholls will also have high hopes for easy Wincanton winner Magic Saint, who stays further, while Whatswrongwithyou runs in a handicap for the first time over fences but was beaten by Brelan D'As at Haydock in December. Not Another Muddle has an excellent strike-rate but will require a big step forward to be competitive in a race like this but Marracudja is likely to be in the firing-line and has the past form to figure. Sole Irish runner Mind's Eye is also interesting and Foxtail Hill won here 18 months ago off a 9lb higher mark and hinted at a revival last month at Warwick so could reward a speculative each-way saver.
