        Verdict

        GWORN completed a double here in mid-summer, the latest in a better handicap than this from just a 3lb lower mark, so should be capable of gaining another course victory. First Sitting started favourite in that latter event but didn't get the best of runs and should finish closer. Tapis Libre has been a wonderful servant and completed a hat-trick in the summer over longer distances, though he's won over this trip in his younger days. Dark Ruler last won a year ago and is now on a lower mark and the booking of Kieren Fallon catches the eye but Dark Amber's three victories this summer have all been in lower-class handicaps.
