In depth

Verdict

Naburn travelled strongly for a long way at Kelso last time and this slight drop in distance might suit. He's slowly coming down the weights but still has to give 9lb here to PERSEID (NAP), even though Sue Smith's charge carries a penalty for a comfortable win at Uttoxeter. He won his bumper here in November and is the one to beat. Craigdancer got back to winning ways over course and distance last month but may struggle to follow up off a higher mark, though is still preferred to Bangor second Alwaysrecommended.
