In depth

Verdict

Jabhaat comes into this race with two recent victories at Beverley under her belt and she cannot be ruled out on a hat-trick bid. Love Magic didn't appear to cope with the gradients of Epsom and is better judged on a second in a Doncaster handicap while Butterfly Mcqueen bombed out badly at Newbury but had performed with credit in maidens at Lingfield and Chester. SHARP AND SMART has gone well at Ascot in the past and Hughie Morrison's filly can make course knowledge count. The five-year-old has won twice for connections since leaving Mick Halford and fast ground appears not to inconvenience. Savanna Days continues in the headgear that she has worn on her last three outings and though ultra-consistent, Mick Channon's filly will need a genuine pace for her to be seen at her best.
