Imperial Echo gets our vote over Lord Of The East, King Harson and Marshman. Imperial Echo caught the eye when staying on strongly to get within a head of Royal Dignitary at Musselburgh eight days ago, and with his yard still in good form, is capable of adding to the tally with a repeat of that improved run. Lord Of The East faded out of sight at Chester after trying to make all, but will be suited by this track and is regarded as a danger along with King Harson who was not beaten too far when fourth at Catterick last time. He has the assistance of Frankie Dettori and should not be dismissed lightly. Marshman is a past course-and-distance winner and although saddled with joint topweight, is expected to fare better than on his return at Goodwood where he lost all chance when rearing up in the stalls. Tsaroxy may be better suited to today's trip after running out of steam over a mile at Ripon on his return to the fray and is another to consider, but we prefer the claims of Imperial Echo.
