    Verdict

Folio is taken to get the better of Darfour and Ela Aleka Mou in this maiden. The selection made a really pleasing racecourse debut when he finished second behind Soviet Palace at Leicester. He was not given a hard race that day and with nominal improvement he looks to have a leading chance. Darfour is a well-bred newcomer from the Mark Johnston yard and this colt is certainly worth noting in the market, although the suspicion is he may do better over further in time. Gallows Hill ran respectably on his debut before tiring and he should strip fitter today, while Ela Aleka Mou is a well-bred filly from a yard that have a good record in these type of events. She is another to note in the market, but for the winner we will return to Folio.
