Verdict

The progressive Persian Pearl has been well placed to gain a quick-fire hat-trick this term and the Hugh Collingride-trained filly will no doubt be on the premises if she runs up to her recent form. However, she is unlikely to be sent off as the best bet of the day if the bookmakers on course take note of her form figures and there may be some value to be had elsewhere in the field. Bint Royal, Tuscarora and Brazilian Terrace have been frustrating to follow so Tamweel looks to be the one to side with today. The Alec Stewart-trained daughter of Gulch barely need to run up ton her rating of 74 to get off the mark at Thirsk at the start of August and has plenty of scope for more improvement. The three-year-old responded well for Phillip Robinson on that occasion and the partnership have too solid a claim to ignore in this company.
