Verdict

Regulated has shown enough to be nominated as the selection over the likes of Good Loser, Paradise Valley and Fitz The Bill. Regulated opened his account in claiming company at Lingfield on his only attempt at today's distance in March, and now meets lesser company again. Jamie Osborne's charge has not progressed since finishing a close second in maiden company at Leicester last summer, but maybe this sort of trip and company will see him reel off a few wins at least. He looks the best option on view, in receipt of the age allowance from Good Loser who posted one or two fair efforts last year. Paradise Valley and Shatin Special have to carry the most weight, but the latter was at least successful in banded company at Wolverhampton in February. Warif left the money in the bookies' satchels last time and does not make much appeal, so for the winner we return to Regulated.
