In depth

Verdict

This looks a stronger heat than the first division, though Phangio and No Through Road are probably better known for their exploits over the larger obstacles. KAYFLIN escapes a penalty for her success in a conditionals’ race at Fontwell last week and Jack Sherwood’s claim is a bonus. Linda Jewell’s mare could score again, though Cuil Rogue has shown some improvement lately and finished ahead of subsequent Uttoxeter second Bhakti at Perth four weeks ago. Culm Counsellor was still beaten 12 lengths when runner-up here last month while Three Colours Red is getting no closer to shedding his maiden tag over timber.
