Verdict

Burrows Lane did win a Kilbeggan bumper for Liz Doyle last summer but he’s proved hard to place over hurdles since joining Charlie Longsdon, though this isn’t a great contest. THREE STAR GENERAL failed to win in eight starts on the Flat for Aidan O’Brien but he looks to be improving over hurdles as, following a fair fourth at Ascot, he only found one too good at Ffos Las – this should be within his capabilities. Ballyandrew has yet to show much in the way of ability but Doyen Dynamo has won three times between the flags and is making his hurdles bow.
