Plenty with solid claims but David Barron is a shrewd operator and his new relationship with the excellent Ben Curtis has already borne fruit during the winter campaign. Their representative here is LIQUID on joint topweight and the Zoffany gelding is taken to follow up a smooth success here last month over this trip, for which he's been raised 6lb. However, the nature of that success suggested there's more to come and he looks the sort to progress and enjoy a good summer too. Sandra's Secret will be all the better for last month's reappearance and is respected along with the consistent if luckless Desert Ace and Kamra, who also continues to run well without winning. Merry Banter and Liberatum are others to note as they make their respective seasonal bows.
