    Verdict

A case can be made for quite a few of these and it looks set to be a hotly contested affair despite the grade of the race. Supreme Salutation has looked a reformed character since being dropped into sellers and should run his race again today. However, he has not always shown a great deal of resolution in a battle and is not one to rely upon too heavily. Pup's Pride, who ended a long losing run here last time, is another not noted for consistency and is probably best left alone in his follow up bid. Roller, Sea Ya Maite and Queensberry are others who are closely matched on the pick of their form. But marginal preference is for Exploring, who will take all the beating if he runs up to the form of his victory ay Salisbury last season. The fact that he is unproven on the surface should ensure that he is sent off at a reasonable starting price and he will not have to find much to make his all weather debut a successful one.
