Verdict

The Mark Johnston-trained Cadwallader, a son of Kingmambo, catches the eye and a market move should be noted. Comtesse Noire cost $150,000 as a yearling but her form is fairly modest overall. Celtic Blaze has finished second on each of his last four runs but, again, he has a modest level of form overall. The cheaply-bought Dancing Pearl won a novice hurdle on her last run but two Flat runs before that revealed little. Win A lot's form is plating class (was beaten in first-time blinkers last time). Kingkohler was placed in a Roscommon maiden and the market might prove the best guide to his chances. Tuppeny is from the in-form Jeremy Noseda stable but she showed little when racing in France. Because this race will not take a great deal of winning, Cadwallader is taken to make a winning debut with Comtesse Noire, for whom Kieren Fallon is booked, rated the danger.
