Verdict

Dancing Phantom, Claptrap and Inver Gold look the principals in this desperate claimer with the vote going to Dancing Phantom. The gelding from the Dudley Moffat yard won well in this grade last time out when defeating Scurra and although he is unproven on this surface he will be hard to beat if he runs up to that level of form. Claptrap rates the main danger on his best form but his best effort of late has been over a much longer trip so for that reason he is opposed. Inver Gold is also worthy of respect he won well last time out when defeating Tweed over course and distance but he will need to improve again to defeat the selection. Of the remainder Young Owen has showed improved form over hurdles of late and has place claims but we are happy to side with Dancing Phantom.
