In depth

Verdict

Danish Blues has solid claims on the pick of his form but, like Sir Loin, disappointed last time and has a difficult looking draw to overcome so a chance is taken with Mystery Pips. Nigel Tinkler's mare has not been in the best of form in recent starts on the all-weather but they have tended to be on the Fibresand at Southwell and she may be worth chancing back on the Polytrack today from a decent draw. Lady Hopeful is well berthed but needs to improve on recent form, while Sir Loin is capable but has a tough looking draw to overcome. Orpenlina gave little sign of encouragement on her reappearance, while Royal Dagger would need to improve on all known form to trouble the judge. This should not take much winning and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Mystery Pips.
