In depth

Verdict

Five times a winner here, four over this trip, Prideway is clearly at home on this track. She has been in cracking form of late and is more likely to run her race than some. However, this looks quite a competitive heat, for a low grade handicap and she is reluctantly passed over. Blushing Prince is none to reliable, but he is more than capable when things go his way, as he showed when bolting up in a seller over course and distance last month. If in the same frame of mind, he is sure to go close. Elheba looks some way below his best at present, while the ex-Irish Eight Woods has shown precious little since coming this side of the water. There is a suspicion that Zafarshah may be better at Lingfield, so a chance is taken with Faraway Look, who can run off a lower mark than when beaten a head by Te Quiero, over this trip , before Christmas.
