In depth

Verdict

It will be interesting to see what Jeremy Noseda's Just Logic does first time on turf after three runs on sand, while both Escape Clause and Star Crowned are becoming expensive to follow so preference is for Best Lady. The selection made an encouraging return here over 10 furlongs last month and the Barry Hills-trained filly should appreciate the drop back in distance. Henry Candy's Great Orator should not mind the underfoot conditions but needs to improve, while Luca Cumani's Manipulate has not looked to be anywhere near as good as his half-brother Alkaadhem in two starts so far. Best Lady should come on a bundle for her reappearance run though and she gets the vote under ground conditions that should suit ideally.
