In depth

Verdict

Congressional would have claims if fit enough but lack of a recent run for the Michael Jarvis-trained filly has to be of concern and a better bet looks to be Rakata, who is preferred to All Quiet. The selection comes from the in-form yard of Paul Cole, is proven over both trip and ground and seems to be well enough treated at the weights. John Dunlop's Pleasing is less exposed than most and also handles cut in the ground so makes more appeal than Commitment Lecture, who is probably a shade high in the weights now. Richard Hannon's All Quiet has solid claims at the weights but is unproven on ground this soft, although her pedigree suggests that she should handle it, but there are no doubts concerning Rakata who gets the vote.
