Verdict

In a race where the betting might provide the best clues as to the chances of these unexposed fillies, Dust Goddess gets a tentaive selection to go one better than her Leicester debut, with newcomers Papillon De Bronze and Radiant Energy also worth noting. Ed Dunlop's filly went down narrowly on her debut and although that may not have been the best race in the world, the form is as good as most of these rivals have achieved so far and she will certainly appreciate this extra furlong. Geoff Wragg's Jubilee Treat has shown enough in two starts, the most recent when fourth at Warwick, to suggest she has place claims at least, but a bigger threat could come from one of the newcomers. Michael Bell's Papillon De Bronze was an expensive yearling and hails from a yard in decent form, while John Gosden introduces a couple of likely sorts in Batushka and Radiant Energy. With Jimmy Fortune booked, the latter is just preferred, although the market should tell us more.
