        Verdict

        After a promising debut at Windsor, Go Bananas is fancied to get off the mark, with Mac The Knife and Breezit also leading contenders. Brian Meehan's Primo Dominie colt was quietly supported on his debut, but not unduly knocked about when running on into third place behind the smart Prince Of Denmark. Well clear of the other runners, he seems sure to improve for that education and is fancied to land the spoils here. Prince Of Denmark's stable mate, Mac The Knife, was a good winner on his debut at Doncaster's opening meeting of the season, but has failed to add to that in two subsequent attempts. While his overall form is fairly solid, he may just struggle to give four pounds to the selection. Fortunately is going the right way and bolted up at Wolverhampton on her latest start. She is a speedy filly and should go well for Pat Eddery, while Breezit looks capable of reversing course and distance form with Trick Cyclist on seven pounds better terms and Mick Channon's filly also has good place claims.
